Behind the Name
The company name was inspired by the Greek legend of Areion, (pronounced air`-ee-on), a divinely bred, extremely swift, immortal horse who first appeared in Homer's Iliad X. At the root of the word, Are-ion means “to be” and “moving forward.”
Areion is a coaching and consulting company founded to support enlightened leaders in achieving lasting, positive, and measurable change in themselves, their teams, and organizations. The process is designed for those who are open to change and truly motivated to go beyond their current levels of performance.
In addition to passion and a deep sense of commitment, founder Lisa Mashburn brings a unique background and skill set to her work.
